Stará Ľubovňa can be proud of its unique medieval army camp in the settlement around the castle presenting a picture of military life of the 16th century. It serves as an ideal place for summer camps, outdoor schools, trips and for all those who want to experience middle ages on their own.

The accommodation in historical tents, archery, crossbow, horseback riding, falconers, medieval meals and many other attractions are definitely worth seeing. Part of the camp is a captain house – a medieval tavern suitable for gatherings of all visitors or family and business celebrations all year round. Announced groups are offered traditional Spiš pig-slaughtering as well as various banquets.
